Born in Surinam, Oscar moved to Amsterdam when he was 20.
He then started a singing career with mostly ballads.
Which makes this funky record with The Twinkle Stars even more special.
When i first found it in 2006 it literally blew me away. 
To me, this album contains one of Hollands finest drumbreaks!
The spirit of James Brown was definitely going through Oscar Harris on the song "Wintie Groove".
The energy of this track is truly unique, and especially for a record made in the Netherlands.
